The Loch Ness Monster By Justyn

Welcome to the Loch Ness Monster history blog post. The Loch Ness Monster is a mythical sea creature with a long neck. The neck is as long as a Brachiosaurus’, a neck which is about 30 feet long. Also, the Loch Ness Monster lives in a lake in Scotland. The Loch Ness Monster is very interesting, and it is probably not that friendly. The Loch Ness Monster is built to eat other animals, and it can also swim at very high speeds. It can also surface on the water, so it can catch low flying things above it. Some people have said that they have seen the Loch Ness Monster, and some people have claimed that they have encountered it too. Some boats have been flipped over by it, which has damaged and even sank some boats in the process. Photos have even shown a black image of something big travelling in the water. There are also a few photos showing the Loch Ness Monster sticking its head out of the water. Last, there has been some evidence found in the water that appears to be something destroyed by this sea creature.
I find the Loch Ness Monster interesting because I like knowing about something that is so big that can also be real. It is really cool to think that there is something that can destroy things in the water. The Loch Ness Monster also reminds me of an alligator gar swimming through the water, which is a fish with a strong skin and jaw. It is also interesting because so many people are still trying to find out about it. Thanks for reading, and go to the Wikipedia page below.

Assassin's Creed III Review By Owen

Hello blog readers. Today I’m going to be writing about Assassin’s Creed III for the Xbox 360. Assassin’s Creed III is another game to the famous series Assassin’s Creed. In this series, the user plays as a bartender named Desmond who is abducted by Abstergo Industries and placed in to a machine called the Animus, a machine that lets you access your ancestors memory. Assassin’s Creed III takes place around the American Revolutionary War. The role you play is a Native American named Connor who lost his mother when his village was burned to the ground. What you do in the game is you go on missions to kill followers of your father, Haythem, who is the leader of the British Templars.

The game play is in 3rd person, but it is not a typical shooter. It is more of a adventure type game, although it does feature muskets and flintlock pistols.

I like the game because it connects to some historical events. For instance, the game features the Battle of Bunker Hill, the Boston Massacre, and other moments in history. I also like the fact that you have a bow and other weapons that you have not seen in any other Assassin’s Creed game. The game also has some humour in it too. In one scene you go see a character named Achilles and the first time he says he does not want to train you, then the next day he apologizes but yells "GET THE HECK OFF MY LAND!!!"

I think that the game is based on actual historical events because there is no way that the makers of the game would just take an actual war and put it in a game to make it more popular. I think they based it on historical events because they ran out of ideas so they made a game about assassins.

If you are interested in history, this game offers in a fun and easy way to relive history. And I recommend that the reader buys this game.

Note: This game is rated M for Mature. The contents of this game may not be appropriate for all ages.

My Story: The Trenches: Billy's View By Ethan

The Trenches: Billy Stevens, The Western Front, 1914-1918
I am reviewing a book called My Story: The Trenches: Billy Stevens, The Western Front 1914-1918 by Jim Eldridge. In this book, an underage boy named Billy Stevens goes into war and gets injured. He is sent to a General’s office until his wounds heal, and if he says a word of what goes on he will be shot for treason. I believe the author’s main massage is that there is a reason for the age limit to go in the army. Also, some war stories aren’t always fun like this one. This book is unique because a very young man is in the army, which is wrong because that’s too intense for a young person like himself.
I would recommend this book because it is a harsh, but thrilling story. Also it really goes into detail with World War I, and it was all true. It is harsh because Billy and his best friend were split up, and Billy does not know if he’s dead or not so he’s afraid for his friend. It is thrilling because Billy’s friend’s uncle is mining under the Russian and German lines and filling that mine with bombs. If you like this review you would probably like the book. It can be found at your local June Rose Callwood library. So check it out!
