Traxxas vs. Losi RC Mania by Steven

How would you like learn about real RC trucks/cars? Well that’s what I’m talking about!!!. Traxxas is the top RC (Radio Controlled) vehicle company in the market because of the Summit and E-Revo.

A Summit is an off road RC vehicle that can go anywhere: road, dirt, gravel, snow, and rocks. E-Revo is not meant for off road. It is meant for track use or road use only. It still is fun, especially when you are racing on a hobby track, a track for racing RCs.

Losi is not the best RC company, according to most RC drivers, but people love Losi’s Night Crawler, a kind of RC that can crawl over rocks and difficult terrain.  

I really love the RC drift cars. I have always really wanted one. Drift vehicles are so great because when you turn one way they will drift automatically. Drifting is where you turn one way while pressing the e-brake so the vehicle slides sideway in a controlled way. Traxxas sponsors Ken Block, who is one of the top drift car drivers, although he drives rally as well. He has a Ford Focus RC that Traxxas made especially for him.

I like RCs because I can do anything with them and it is a great bond with my family. I have a mini Summit, my dad has a big Summit, and my mom has a Stampede.

I also really like going off-road, so I recommend to anyone else that likes to go off-road to get a Summit because they give you torque, power, and they will crawl just as well as any other crawler. Don't Judge Someone By His/Her Cover By Chase

Many people think the word “foster” means bad, non-normal, and stupid right? Well think again because I know from experience these stereotypes are not true. They are kids have had problems in the past with family or step parents and stuff like that, and you can think whatever you want, but here is a little info about my life with my Dad running a foster home.

D.J. and Jacob (not their real names) are people that were fostered when they were younger, but now they each have a job, kids, a spouse, and a family who loves them. They are good people. They have stories, and they have problems, too. But we all have problems; such as, some of us wet the bed, some of us have anger issues, and some of us have problems with our family too. All of this has nothing to do with us now because we grew up and moved on.

With my Dad running a foster home, we are so much happier. The foster kids are not nonsense; they are family. We have tournaments, and we have races. We bake together, make forts, and play outside: sunny or cold. We have fun together. They don’t think of me of the “foster dad’s daughter that does what EVER she wants” and I don’t think of them as “stupid.” We think of each other as friends and family.

When I saw the first foster kid, he was in pants WAY too big, a REALLY small shirt, and bed head hair. I thought I was going to die, but it turned out he was funny, nice, and I just did not understand why someone would not want him!!! I asked and he told me his story, and after he was done telling me I thought I was going to cry. I said that they gave up a REALLY GREAT person, because I know that it would hurt to act like nothing ever happened and to see people on the street whispering behind my back.

I guess what I’m saying is you cannot judge someone by his/her cover because YOU could be missing out on awesome friend and a REALLY GREAT PERSON.

How to Get Started in Minecraft By Joey

Hello readers, I am writing this post on behalf of Minecraft.

Minecraft is a Virtual 3D block game that has no circles. It has multi player and single player, and there are a lot of multi player servers out there like vistacraft.no-ip.biz. It is a really great server. Single player is great and there is a lot of stuff you can do in it like, mess around with Redstone, build a house, cut down a tree, kill some monsters at night, harvest a sheep’s wool, build traps for your friends, and build a city. The possibilities in Minecraft are endless. In Minecraft, this is what your normal skin looks like until you get a new one. You can get a new one by going to the site at the bottom of this post. This characters name is "Steve" and it is the very first skin you get in Minecraft. In Minecraft you can also go in Creative mode which allows you to have unlimited resources.

Also, if you go into single player and click "More World Options" you can make the level a flat land which allows you to find villages more easily. In the last Minecraft update, there were jungle and desert temples added. There is also a new monster boss in Minecraft called the Wither Skeleton.




When you first start your world in Minecraft, what you want to do is chop down a tree and make some tools for mining and resources. Once you have done that, you are ready for getting other resources. If you are a beginner in Minecraft, you can only get iron with stone pickaxes or better, gold with iron or better, and diamonds with iron or better. Once you get everything you want, you should probably cut down a few more trees so you can make a house and a chest for your stuff. In SuperFlat land there are only four levels of blocks: the first three are dirt, and the fourth block level is bedrock. If you want to ever find diamonds in Minecraft, you need to generate a normal world with mountains and find a cave that goes down to level 12. You can find out what level you are at by pressing F3. The proper axis for level 12 is the one that would say y: 12.000.

On SuperFlat Land you can NOT find trees, but you can if grow them when you are in Creative Mode. You can also make trees grow by going into Create New World and click More World Options, then click the option of making the type of world generation and go to "Custom Layouts," then "Presets," and then go to "Miners Heaven." With this generation, you can find trees on SuperFlat Land. This also makes it so there are ten Dirt block levels, two-hundred and sixty-three Stone block levels, and one Bedrock level. In the new 1.5 Beta Update for Minecraft, there is going to be a lot more Redstone resources and also a Nether Quarts.

Uncharted 3 Review By Isaac

Uncharted 3 is a game for the PS3 where you are looking for treasure that your uncle has hidden and left clues for you to find it. This game is first person perspective where you shoot and find puzzles for secrets passages and sometimes treasure. In some puzzles, you have to step on bricks and in others you turn statues to face certain ways. The main characters name is Drake. When he was a child his family kicked him out onto the street and he had to fend for himself. Soon after that he starts stealing. He stole a wallet from someone once and then they become partners in trying to find the treasure.

What I like about this game is that you have three modes of play to choose from: campaign, multiplayer or co-op. also you can play online against other people that play this game online. You can also find golden guns on co-op or multiplayer. Golden guns are more powerful than regular guns. My favourite part is playing online and leveling up. Also I like customizing. This game is similar to Call of Duty Black Ops 2 because there is shooting, campaign, mode and online play. Black Ops has better graphics, but this game has better missions and that you don’t always kill.  Black Ops does not have any puzzles to solve either. This game replaces killing sometimes with a combination of searching for treasure and figuring out clues. This is what makes this game better . If you like what I have written, then you should try out Uncharted 3.

Assassin's Creed III Review By Owen

Hello blog readers. Today I’m going to be writing about Assassin’s Creed III for the Xbox 360. Assassin’s Creed III is another game to the famous series Assassin’s Creed. In this series, the user plays as a bartender named Desmond who is abducted by Abstergo Industries and placed in to a machine called the Animus, a machine that lets you access your ancestors memory. Assassin’s Creed III takes place around the American Revolutionary War. The role you play is a Native American named Connor who lost his mother when his village was burned to the ground. What you do in the game is you go on missions to kill followers of your father, Haythem, who is the leader of the British Templars.

The game play is in 3^rd person, but it is not a typical shooter. It is more of a adventure type game, although it does feature muskets and flintlock pistols.

I like the game because it connects to some historical events. For instance, the game features the Battle of Bunker Hill, the Boston Massacre, and other moments in history. I also like the fact that you have a bow and other weapons that you have not seen in any other Assassin’s Creed game. The game also has some humour in it too. In one scene you go see a character named Achilles and the first time he says he does not want to train you, then the next day he apologizes but yells "GET THE HECK OFF MY LAND!!!"
　
I think that the game is based on actual historical events because there is no way that the makers of the game would just take an actual war and put it in a game to make it more popular. I think they based it on historical events because they ran out of ideas so they made a game about assassins.
　
If you are interested in history, this game offers in a fun and easy way to relive history. And I recommend that the reader buys this game.

How to Take Care of a Bunny by Keagan

I would like to give you information on bunnies today. My rabbit is white with gray ears, tail, and nose. It is a dwarf. A dwarf is a lot smaller than a regular rabbit. The size of a regular rabbit depends on its weight, height, age and type. A dwarf gets about 1 foot long. To keep a rabbit you need carrots, food, a house, litter box, 2 food containers, carpet in the winter, healthy snacks, and toys. To keep a rabbit healthy, you need to feed them when you hear them banging their dishes. You have to clean the cage once a week, and they do not need to go to the vet unless you want them neutered. Do not let them eat anything outside because you do not know what has touched the ground, and they might get sick or die. They need exercise to stay healthy by letting them run around.

When I got my bunny I needed to build a cage, so me and my papa built a cage out of wood, chicken wire, nails, and staples. I got my bunny at a farm. Try and keep them in a place where people cannot touch them or predators can get them. One of my bunny’s predators is my cat. I hope you now know about my bunny and other bunnies too.
